These are the earrings that make people lean in and ask what's happening on your ears — and you get to say, 'Oh, an Indigenous artist from the base of Mt. Shasta made them by hand and they'll never exist again.' You're welcome for the conversation starter. Each earring features a raised dome of spring green felt crowned with an oval abalone shell at the center. Surrounding that are concentric rows of green, lime green, and interspersed with sparkling sliver rhinestone cup chain that catches every bit of light in the room. The outer edge is finished with silver mini rondelles and both greens of fire-polished Delica's. Pleather backing keeps them lightweight and comfortable. Silver-tone fish hook findings. Approximately 2 inches in diameter. Sold as a pair. Handmade by an Indigenous artist — each piece is unique. I sat with these for admiring them before layering ring after ring of the greens and silver until they looked like something the mountain would approve of. They're ready. Are you?
