About this piece

You know that moment right before the sun drops behind the mountain and the creek goes full hologram? That's what these look like hanging from your ears. These are genuine polished abalone shell ovals — each one swirling with iridescent greens, teals, deep purples, and flashes of gold that shift every time you move. No two abalone shells pattern the same way, ever, so this pair is truly unrepeatable. Each oval measures approximately 1.25 inches long and hangs from silver-tone fish hook ear wires with coil wrap and bead detail. Total drop is about 2 inches. Lightweight enough to wear all day, eye-catching enough that somebody's going to ask you where you got them. Tell them a Pit River Tribe artist from the foot of Mt. Shasta made them with her own hands — because I did. Sold as a pair. Handmade by an Indigenous artist — each piece is unique. These won't come around again.

Care: Keep away from water and perfume. Seed beads are durable but the thread that holds them is not invincible — treat gently.
