Turtle medicine is patience. These little ones aren't in a hurry, and honestly, neither am I when I'm putting something together that feels this right. Each earring features a carved turquoise-dyed howlite turtle bead — detailed shell pattern, four tiny legs, that unmistakable silhouette — flanked top and bottom by faceted clear crystal accent beads that catch light like creek water in the afternoon. Everything hangs from silver-tone fish hook ear wires, lightweight and easy to wear all day. They dangle approximately 1.75 inches from the ear wire. Sold as a pair. Lightweight enough you'll forget you're wearing them until someone asks where you got them. Handmade by an Indigenous artist — each piece is unique. I'm a Pit River Tribe citizen who grew up near Mt. Shasta. They won't be made again. Turtles move slow, but these will move fast.
