You found it. The actual Gay Agenda. And it's beaded, because of course it is. This brooch features a pink resin cabochon of a sparkly pentagram-covered book — complete with rainbow flag bookmark — surrounded by rows of silver-lined seed beads and hot pink seed beads, finished with a border of clear AB faceted crystals that catch light like they have something to prove. The backing is soft pink leather with a secure stick pin closure. Measures approximately 2.5 x 2 inches. One piece. Handmade by an Indigenous artist — a Pit River Tribe citizen who grew up at the foot of Mt. Shasta and has always had strong opinions about both aesthetics and agendas. I held this one in my hands and laughed the whole time I was beading it. It's loud, it's pink, it's unapologetic, and it will never be made again. Pin it on and let them wonder.
