Three rows of metallic gold cylinder beads, stitched tight and gleaming like the last hour of sun hitting Mt. Shasta before it dips. This band-style beaded ring sits at approximately a size 9 on the mandrel — snug, intentional, and built to stay put. The bead color is a true rich gold with that glassy, reflective finish that catches every bit of light in the room. You can see the careful peyote stitch work and the slight scalloped edge where each bead column meets the white thread foundation. It's minimal. It's bold. It does a lot with a little. One piece. One size. Handmade by an Indigenous artist — each piece is unique and will never be replicated, not even in color. I sat with this tiny circle of gold longer than you'd think.
