Beaded Ring — Late August Gold

There's a certain light that hits the hills around Shasta in late August — gold everywhere, with just enough green still holding on. That's this ring. Hand-beaded with metallic gold and turquoise-green Delica seed beads in a clean geometric stepped pattern, finished with a white seed bead edge. The band is approximately 3/8 inch wide, fitting around a size 8.5 to 9 on the mandrel. Every single bead was stitched by hand — no loom, no shortcuts, just me and a needle and a whole lot of patience. The gold has a beautiful warm metallic sheen, and the green hits like a little flash of pine tree at the corner of your eye. This exact ring will never exist again. I don't repeat pieces, not even in color. I held this one on my fingertip and turned it in the light more times than I'll admit. It's ready for your hand now.
