Ring
Beaded Ring — Spring Lichen
$20.00
About this piece
This little ring is quiet the way early spring in Northern California is quiet — not flashy, not loud, just exactly right. Three rows of hand-stitched seed beads wrap around your finger in a clean peyote stitch band. The center row is a soft sage-green, like new lichen on volcanic rock, bordered by two rows of pearly white that keep it crisp. It sits between a size 10 and 11 on the mandrel — call it a 10.5. Lightweight, comfortable, and built to wear daily without babying it. Every single bead was placed by my hands, one at a time, which is either meditative or unhinged depending on who you ask. Seed bead construction, no metal findings, flexible enough to slide on easy. One piece, one of a kind — I don't make the same thing twice, not even rings this small. Handmade by an Indigenous artist, each piece is unique. Once it's gone, it's gone and I'm already making something else.

Care: Keep away from water and perfume. Seed beads are durable but the thread that holds them is not invincible — treat gently.
