Strawberry Dentalium Earrings — Summer Sweet

You know that first strawberry of summer — the one you eat standing in the yard before it even makes it inside? That's these earrings. Each one features a hand-detailed red polymer clay strawberry bead with white seed dots and a deep green leaf crown, topped with faceted red crystal bicones on silver-tone fish hook findings. Below each berry, two graceful dentalium shell loops arc down and meet at the bottom with a pink and pale green glass bead finish. They swing when you move. They catch light when you laugh. They're approximately 3.5 inches in total length and lightweight enough to wear all day. Sold as a pair. Handmade by an Indigenous artist — Pit River Tribe, born and raised in the shadow of Mt. Shasta. Each piece is unique and will never be recreated. I sat with these ones for a while. Dentalium and strawberries together just felt right — traditional material meets pure summer joy.
