These are the kind of earrings that make people stop mid-sentence and say wait, what are those. A mosaic abalone shell triangle sits at the center of each earring — every fragment catching a different slice of light. Iridescent greens, deep ocean blues, warm coppers, silvers. The kind of color you only get from something that actually came from the water. Above and below each shell pendant, dark peacock and silver-grey freshwater pearls stack in alternating sizes, giving the whole piece gorgeous movement and weight without dragging you down. Silver-tone fish hook findings. Approximately 3 inches total drop. Sold as a pair. Handmade by an Indigenous artist — Pit River Tribe, born and raised under Mt. Shasta. Each piece is completely unique and will never be remade. I sat with these ones for a while. The abalone kept shifting colors on me every time I turned them. They're finally done arguing with the light. They're yours now.
