Beaded Keychain — Late August Lupine
$35.00
About this piece
You know that moment in late August when the last lupines are still holding on at the edge of the road, all purple and electric green against the dry grass? That's this keychain. I beaded this one using a tubular peyote stitch with alternating rows of chartreuse lime and deep dusty purple seed beads, wrapped into a thick, satisfying teardrop loop. It feels good in your hand — weighted, solid, real. Silver-tone end caps hold everything together with a sturdy split ring at the top. The loop measures approximately 4 inches long, and the whole piece hangs about 5.5 inches total including hardware. This is a one-of-a-kind piece. I will never make this exact combination again. Your keys have been carrying around that sad lanyard from a conference you didn't even want to attend. Give them something handmade by a Pit River Tribe artist instead. They deserve it. You deserve it.

Care: Keep away from water and perfume. Seed beads are durable but the thread that holds them is not invincible — treat gently.
