Turtles don't rush. They just know where they're going. These earrings carry that same energy — turquoise carved turtle beads sitting right at the top, looking like they're about to dive into the curve of two natural dentalium shell tubes that arc open beneath them like water parting. Faceted ice-blue crystal rondelles catch the light at the top and bottom of each shell arch, adding just enough shimmer to make people stare and then pretend they weren't staring. Silver-tone fish hook ear wires and jump rings. Each earring hangs approximately 3.5 inches from the hook. Sold as a pair. Handmade by an Indigenous artist — Pit River Tribe, born and raised in the shadow of Mt. Shasta. Each piece is unique and will never be replicated. I held these in my hands and thought about slow, sure things. They're ready to go with someone who gets that.
