Fringe Earrings — January Frost

These are the kind of earrings that make people stop mid-sentence and ask what you're wearing. A beaded triangle cap in matte grey seed beads with red and white accents sits at the top, anchoring a row of clear bugle beads that catch every bit of light you walk through. Below that, seven fringe strands of grey seed beads drop down, each banded with red and white details, ending in long white dentalium shell drops that sway and click when you move. The movement on these is unreal — they're lightweight but dramatic, roughly 3.5 inches from the top of the silver-tone fish hook findings to the tips of the shells. Sold as a pair. Handmade by an Indigenous artist — each piece is unique and will never be replicated. I sat with these for a while. The grey reminded me of fog sitting low on the mountain before the sun burns through. They're ready. You ready?
