About this piece

You know that moment in winter when the ice catches the light on the mountain and the whole world goes blue-silver for about three seconds? That's what these are. These teardrop earrings are built around iridescent starburst cabochons that shift color depending on how you move — seafoam, gold, violet, all of it. Each cab is framed by a row of AB rhinestone cup chain, then surrounded by concentric rings of black and white seed beads, light blue rhinestone chain, and another row of black seed beads. The outer edge is finished with smoky blue bicone crystals that catch every bit of light in the room. Silver leather backing keeps them comfortable against your skin. Black fishhook ear wires with a beaded loop drop. Approximately 3.5 inches total length including the loop, about 2 inches wide. Sold as a pair. Handmade by an Indigenous artist — Pit River Tribe, born and raised in the shadow of Mt. Shasta. I will never make this exact pair again. I held these in my hands for hours. They're yours now — if you're quick.

Care: Keep away from water and perfume. Seed beads are durable but the thread that holds them is not invincible — treat gently.
