Dentalium & Lavender Stone Necklace Set — Winter Dusk

This is what the sky looks like over Mt. Shasta about twenty minutes after the sun drops — all soft lavender and bone white and that last bit of warm brown where the treeline meets the horizon. Five cascading strands of genuine white dentalium shell tubes flow from a leather-wrapped collar, each strand separated by matte lavender and soft grey round stone beads that catch light like they're deciding whether to glow. The whole piece drapes beautifully — the longest strand falls approximately 14 inches from the collar. Dark wood accent beads anchor the strands where they meet the leather. The matching earrings hang about 3 inches on silver fish hook findings, with clusters of silver jump rings cascading into dentalium shell and lavender stone drops. Sold as a set — necklace and earrings together. Handmade by an Indigenous artist, Pit River Tribe. I will never make this combination again.
