There's this light that hits Mt. Shasta right before the sun drops — everything goes white and gold for about ten minutes. That's what these remind me of. These are dentalium shell earrings, and if you know, you know. Dentalium has deep significance in Indigenous communities, and I love working with it. Each earring features a long, naturally curved dentalium shell — creamy white with that organic taper — finished at the base with two luminous gold-tone pearl beads and a faceted amber-gold crystal spacer that catches light like it has something to prove. Gold-tone fish hook findings with a small jump ring connector. Total drop is approximately 3 inches. Lightweight enough to wear all day. Sold as a pair. Handmade by an Indigenous artist — each piece is unique. I will never make this exact pair again. I held these in my hands, turned them over in the evening light, and now they're ready for yours.
