Abalone Drop Earrings — River and Shell Light

These two shells don't match and that's the whole point. Nature doesn't do symmetry — she does iridescence. Each earring hangs a large teardrop abalone shell drop that catches every color the light can think of: greens, purples, pinks, silvers, deep ocean blue. One runs lighter, one runs darker, because that's how the shell grew and I'm not about to argue with it. Above each drop sits a small round abalone coin bead, framed by creamy ivory seed beads that keep things grounded. Silver-tone fish hook ear wires with coil wraps. Total drop is approximately 3 inches. Lightweight despite the drama. Sold as a pair. Handmade by an Indigenous artist — each piece is unique and will never be remade. I don't duplicate my work. Not even close. These sat in my hands while the abalone did that thing where every angle is a different color. Now they're ready for yours.
