These are the earrings the ocean would write you if it had hands. Two long, asymmetrical strands hang from antique bronze fish hook findings — one strand strung with coral-pink glass tube beads and iridescent abalone shell hearts, the other with white dentalium shell tubes, deep red round beads, and abalone triangles and ovals. Every abalone piece throws different light — greens, blues, purples, golds — depending on how you move. And you will move in these. Approximately 5 inches total drop length. Sold as a pair. Materials include abalone shell (hearts, ovals, triangles), dentalium shell tubes, coral-pink glass tube beads, red round beads, bronze-tone metal beads, and antique bronze fish hook ear wires. Handmade by an Indigenous artist — each piece is unique and will never be replicated. I sat with these for a while, layering shells and letting the strands find their own weight.
