Bracelet — Dusk on the Mountain

There's this color the sky turns right before it gives up on being daytime — not purple, not grey, just this soft, moody lavender that makes everything feel quiet. That's this bracelet. I wove it bead by bead in a spiral rope stitch using matte dusty lavender seed beads with metallic silver-grey accents that catch light the way frost catches morning sun. The rope is smooth, lightweight, and sits easy on the wrist. It closes with a gunmetal lobster claw clasp and jump ring — secure, simple, no fuss. Approximately 7.5 inches in length. One piece, handmade start to finish by an Indigenous artist — Pit River Tribe, born and raised under Mt. Shasta. I will never make this exact bracelet again. That's not a sales pitch, that's just how I work. I held every bead. Now it's your turn.
