These are what happens when the last light of the day hits Mt. Shasta and everything goes smoky purple and gold for about nine minutes. I wanted to hold that. Each earring is built around a smooth grey-purple cat's eye cabochon — the kind that shifts color when you move. I surrounded it with a tight row of gold bugle beads, then a ring of clear and gold seed beads that catch light like tiny windows, finished with a clean white whip-stitched edge. The backing is cream leather, soft against your skin and built to last. Approximately 1.25 inches tall, oval shape. Post-style findings. Sold as a pair. Handmade by an Indigenous artist — each piece is unique. I will never make this pair again. I sat with these for a while, getting every bead exactly where it needed to be. They're yours now — if you're quick enough.
