Each of these round studs centers an iridescent abalone shell star that shifts between deep violet, teal, navy, and rose depending on how the light hits you — and it will hit you, because people are going to stare. The cabochons are framed by a ring of soft lavender-pink seed beads, then finished with a crown of clear twisted bugle beads fanned out like tiny icicles. The effect is somewhere between a winter sunrise and the inside of a seashell your grandma kept on a windowsill. Approximately 1.5 inches in diameter. Clip-on findings with gold-tone hardware. Rose-pink ultrasuede backing for comfort. Sold as a pair. Handmade by an Indigenous artist — Pit River Tribe, born and raised under Mt. Shasta. Each piece is unique and will never be replicated. I held these in my hands for a while. They caught the light every single time I moved. Now they're yours to catch it.
