Each of these round studs centers an iridescent abalone shell star that shifts between deep violet, teal, navy, and rose depending on how the light hits you — and it will hit you, because people are going to stare. The abalone shell stars are framed by a ring of white frosted seed beads, then finished with a crown of pink-clear rondelles and light pink seed beads as if they were like tiny pieces of hail. The effect is like a winter sunrise on the Rez. Approximately 1.5 inches in diameter. Post findings with gold-tone hardware. Rose-pink pleather backing for comfort. Sold as a pair. Handmade by an Indigenous artist — Pit River Tribe. Each piece is unique and will never be replicated. I held these in my hands for a while. They caught the light every single time I moved.
