Ring
Beaded Ring — Shallow Creek Turquoise
$15.00
About this piece
You know that color the creek turns in late spring — not quite blue, not quite green, just cold and shallow and perfect? That's this ring. Three rows of Picasso-finish turquoise seed beads sit tight together, each one a little different — pale sky blue with flecks of olive green and warm brown marbling through them like tiny pieces of stone. No two beads look the same, which means no two angles of this ring look the same either. The edges are finished clean with white seed bead scalloping that frames everything without stealing the show. Approximately size 8. One piece — this is a ring, not a pair of anything. Handmade by an Indigenous artist, Pit River Tribe, each piece is unique. I sat with this one under the lamp for a while, turning those little Picasso beads just right. It's small but it's deliberate. And it will never exist again.

Care: Keep away from water and perfume. Seed beads are durable but the thread that holds them is not invincible — treat gently.
