Beaded Ring — Clear Sky Turquoise

Sometimes the simplest things stop you in your tracks. This hand-beaded ring is two rows of opaque turquoise seed beads stitched tight and clean — the color of a Northern California sky about fifteen minutes before it decides to be perfect. No pattern, no fuss, just that blue hitting your hand like a little strip of summer. Approximately size 9, this ring is stitched on white thread with a smooth, comfortable fit. The beadwork is precise — each tiny seed bead placed by hand, one at a time, by me, a Pit River Tribe artist who's been doing this since she was eight years old. Handmade by an Indigenous artist — each piece is unique. I will never make this exact ring again. Not this color, not this size, not this particular Tuesday-afternoon energy. One piece, sold as a single ring. I sat with this little one longer than you'd think. It's small but it's right. Grab it before somebody else does.
