About this piece

This is what late August looks like if you could wrap it around your neck. Warm orange and golden yellow seed beads catch the light between cool segments of translucent silver-white, all divided by deep navy blue accent rings that keep the whole thing grounded. The beadwork is tubular — rolled and stitched tight by hand so it drapes smooth against your skin with just enough texture to remind you it's real. Seed beads throughout in orange, yellow, silver-white, and navy blue. Silver-tone lobster claw clasp with an adjustable extender chain — fits approximately 16 to 19 inches depending on where you hook it. One piece. One necklace. That's it. Handmade by an Indigenous artist — each piece is unique. I'm a Pit River Tribe citizen who's been beading since I was eight years old. I held every bead in this necklace between my fingers. It won't exist twice, so if you're reading this, it's still available. Probably not for long.

Care: Keep away from water and perfume. Seed beads are durable but the thread that holds them is not invincible — treat gently.
